Youth Campaign on HIV/SRH/AIDS

I am working Youth Alliance In Social and Economic Development (YASED), which is one of the youth Organs in Malawi. Soon the organ will be implementing a project focused much on mobilising youg people in the rural setting to participate in the prevetion on HIV/AIDS an sexual repoductive health(SRH) issues that affect them and deter their full partici[pation to developmental endeavours.

The project also aims at sensitizing comunity leaders to openly discuss these issues at meetings as well as informal gatherings that may act as a possible and effective medium for information dissemination.

The project will equip young people with skills that will enable them to effect positive behaviour change that poses little/or no health risk at all.

The project is to run for 5 months beginning July 2003.
